Youth Week
On 16 April 2015 Afghan Fajar Association (AFAIC) Collaborated with NSW Council for Pacific Communities and SWMAAC to Celebrate National Youth Week 2015 at Minto Community Centre. It was a day full of joy and harmony taking part in Youth activities on Health and Cultural Awareness.
It was a great the see the growth of mutual understanding of our different cultures as well as friendship made during this Youth Week event. It has built long lasting memories amongst the Multicultural Youth in the Macarthur.
The participants took part in activities such as:
- Boot Camp
- Boxing
- Fun games
- Exercise
- Social activities
- Cultural dances
The Youth showed great pleasure at learning different Cultural performances and they contributed enthusiastically in the activities.
The event was brought to an end with a delicious lunch which everyone enjoyed.AFAIC would like to thank Matt from Point Magazine and the Girls Guide for being a part of the program today.
