ARYA AWARDS 2018 NOMINATION FORM

Afghan Fajar Association Incorporated auspices the
2018 "AFGHAN REFUGEE YOUTH ACHIEVEMENT" AWARDS

CLOSING DATE FOR ALL NOMINATIONS IS 4PM 16th November 2018 (Extended).
No late applications will be considered.

PURPOSE: To recognize young Afghans who have demonstrated outstanding perseverance and/or service to the community.

ELIGIBILITY: The following criteria are considered when the adjudicating panel are deciding the successful recipients.

• NOMINEE must be: 12-24 years to be recognised in the Education and Vocational Training, Sports, Artistic and Citizenship categories. Over 18 years for Business Enterprise and Humanitarian/Community Categories.
• NOMINEE should have demonstrated success/achievement within one or more of the nomination categories.
• NOMINEE should have been a good example of perseverance and/or being of service to the community.

NOMINATING: The individual may be self-nominated or nominated by any community member including family members. There is no limit to the number of nominations, but multiple nominations do not guarantee selection. Please attach a separate nomination form if applying under more than one category. The attached nomination form can be used or you can apply online.

SELECTION: Successful recipients will be selected by the Afghan Refugee Youth Awards Independent Adjudicators. Selection will be based on the person’s actions, scope, and impact.

RECOGNITION: Successful recipients will be announced at the ARYA Awards Ceremony Night on 8th December 2018.
